one of my babies has a very soft, cotton coat...her hair is very wavy too when it is wet and has a slight wave when it is dry...i know she is 100% yorkie and i think the waves come from her coat type...it is definitely not the preferred coat type for a yorkie but it does not make them any less yorkie KWIM?
my solution?? a puppy cut! she looks beautiful with long hair and it killed me to cut it, but it is so much easier to maintain and take care of ... we rotate shampoos (i have not found THE ONE for her hair yet lol) ... minksheen is pretty good and i also like the paul mitchell pet products on her hair....i also got some samples from bio-groom and that seemed to work the best on her so i will use the sample one more time this weekend and pick it up at the store
