A co-worker who once had show dogs gave me a great grooming tip. I apologize if this has been on here before, but I have not read it. After a bath, spray on Johnson's No More Tangles (for kids). I bought the Target brand. Sophie's coat is now beautiful and silky. She was previously very cottony. I am now able to let it grow without the terrible mats.
