Along with everything that has been said here the whole shipping a Yorkie puppy, or any dog really, this time of year is just plain abuse. Was he going to ship it in the cargo hold? To DC in December? The puppy would be dead before it got to DC from the cold. As dangerous as it is to ship them in the heat of summer it is equally as dangerous to ship in the cold of winter.
Makes me want to chain him up outside in his skivvies and let him see what it's like to freeze. I'm generally a forgiving person, but when it comes to people harming children, old folks and animals, I loose all perspective.
