Wrigley our almost 7 month old yorkie sleeps in bed with us. Well, he typically sleeps on top of my head... as in ON IT but that is another story.
Our 3 year old yorkie who we got after Wrigley does not sleep in the bed. Shes not totally potty trained here (shes having a bit of a problem with it) and also she is so small just over 3 lbs and while I will nap with her in the bed, I would be too nervous to sleep all night with her. I wouldn't get any sleep because I would be worried she'd fall off or something.
