We call the dog a Biewer Terrier because Biewer is the name of the man that created the breed and Terrier is the type of dog it is. We have proven that the Biewer is a breed of its own and not a Yorkshire Terrier.
A magazine as prestigious as Top Notch Toys certainly validates its articles before publishing them, wouldn't you think?
The Parti breeders say they have Yorkshire Terriers with a recessive piebald gene and so does the bbci. Now if the bbci says they have a Yorkshire Terrier with a mutant piebald gene, then what is their foundation for the breed being a separate breed?
They say they are holding true to the long term goals of the originator of this wonderful breed, then why did they change the name? Why did they add black to the standard. There's 2 contradictions right there. |
