My yorkie got pregnant accidentally so this was totally unexpected also. Since I've found out I've researched tons, got youtube vids on yorkie pregnancy, got a vet book on dogs, found this forum, ordered all my things to ensure a healthy birth (Stethoscope, hemostats, dew claw kit, kitchen scale, etc.), prepared my birthing area with a heating pad and lamp.
I also sent away the male that got my baby pregnant as my 6.5month old is going into heat. I don't want her getting pregnant on her first heat. Accidents happen and we must deal with them. I choose to have her babies and care for them all as best as I can.
Soooo for those that do care I really appreciate all the PM's and info sent to me. There are actually some really nice people out there that are willing to help without cruelty.
