I remember this story. It was in July, 1981, a month after my oldest son was born. I remember thinking OMG! If anyone harmed my child, they wouldn't have to worry about the police. They would have to be afraid of me, because I would hunt them down and kill them myself.

It was a tragic story, but thank God at least John Walsh and his wife stayed together and had three more children. Too many times you read about a couple that lose a child and can't go on staying together and finally divorce.

They will never heal completely, but at least there is some closure.
