We lost our male APBT last Feb due to testicular cancer. My fiance didn't have him neutered (for fear of him gaining weight) and he died as a result of his poor decision. Our vet point blank told us that if he had been neutered, he'd still be alive. So yes, the health benefits DO outweigh the temporary 'pain' the dog 'endures.' |
