For "gates", we use those white shelves you usually see in California Closets, do you know what I mean? We buy the long ones, and Wylie cannot jump over them - and they're easy to prop up. We got them at Home Depot or Lowes.
Marcel does *not* follow Wylie in jumping off the bed or sofa - he somehow learned/knows his height limits and always uses his little stairs. I got the $10 stairs at Walgreens.
