Thanks 4 the tips...i bought a cold one at first, but changed it for a warm one...because it seem he got worst with the cold one...this warm one is okay...i got the 445 model or something like that....he still coughs but not that much...thanks

If your warm-air humidifier isn't putting out enough steam, try adding a few pinches of salt to the warm water/vicks combo inside. The directions on mine said that if you have soft water, you'll need to add a little salt, and mix it around well. After i added the salt to mine, it started working really well, and i could see the steam coming out.
Also, i just put my pup in the "steam cave" whenever he is napping, which is pretty often - at least three or four hours a day. It's so warm and cozy in there, i wish i could sleep in it with him sometimes, lol!
