Now my whole family needs to walk around wearing safety glasses because Diesel will not leave Lola alone even though she is not in heat (he hasn't left her alone for a couple of months now, silly teenagers ) and the hangs on to her back end for dear life as she flies through the house. It looks like they are playing superman and he's the cape. That dog has some serious grip. I don't know whats wrong with Lola. Ever since she came into heat about 3.5 months ago (appx) the boys have insisted she is still in heat. I feel like I need to steam clean daily. I have come to terms with the fact that she just may never conceive
Don't know if you caught the thread a while ago that I told this story on in case you missed it, here it is again. I had my Annabelle bred many times...no puppies.Thinking I just kept missing the right day I bought my own little male. After 4 years of trying for puppies, I had nothing. After a lot of money to the Fertility Specialist, Annabelle was diagnosed with underdeveloped, immature ovaries, abnormal hormone level etc. and that she would most likely never have puppies. 5 weeks after my Chancie was hit and killed Annabelle started putting on weight. A trip to the vet proved she was indeed pregnant. I called it my miracle gift from Chancie. She was pretty sneaky about never letting us know this was going on. Must have been during the night. We ended up with 2 babies. So don't give up you may get a surprise when you least expect it.
