It is not unusual for some mommas to lose their appetite after being bred. Was she a picky eater before you bred her? I always just keep mine on their standard diet until they have their puppies. I feed mine a high quality dry food, Canidae, plus I add a little canned Pedigree Chopped chicken canned food to the dry food. Just make sure she is eating a good quality food. Mine usually have their appetites pick up the last half of the pregnancy. Best of luck with the whelping. |
