HAHAHA your vet might be wrong on that one! Mine are over 3 years old and still follow my every step. I cannot shut doors between them and I, I might lose the door to them trying to get through it or under it! They get up and follow me even if I take 2 steps away. Often my bf will get me some water or something because they are both curled up asleep on me and I'll feel soo bad moving them to get my own water. I think only twice my Fletcher was sooo overtired that he went to my bed by himself and slept while I was downstairs. Other than that, they are always always always at my feet or on my lap. I do not let them up when I eat though, I have taught them to wait for me in the kitchen in their bed where they can see me but I won't tolerate the begging at the table, its where I draw the line! lol
