I guess I should add that my friend had a Yorkie and I was maybe 13? and I loved that dog sooooo much. I think that's when I fell in love. They think they are big dogs. They are small but they aren't "lap dogs" I mean, they are lazy for sure but they are independent. They fetch. They dig in the dirt. They are REAL dogs (if you let them be!) And they are small so they are easy to transport (mine have car seats and come along in the car all the time) and they are messy but at least their messes are small
Weekly baths are no big deal. I could never have a big dog in my little house but these guys are perfectly happy as long as they have a couch to sleep on all day and stairs they can pretend is a nascar track
