I have to comment because my Shorkie tore up my new berber carpet at the top of my stairs. He did it twice and I had it repaired. I used pepper and he did not do it again. I then bought a little yorkie and geuss what she did....I cam home from work and she had tore up the same spot (caught her in the act)... repaired again and used pepper...no more carpet tearing.
