I'm so happy today! He is finally getting the "go potty". Yesterday I said go potty and he went poo and I went crazy, and then he did it again at night. He just did this morning too. I can definitely tell he is getting it. He has had no pee or poo accidents for the last week either. He has stopped the annoying crazy intensive sniffing and now just enjoys playing chase with other dogs.
There were times when I got so frustrated I felt like I couldn't handle him, but I pushed through. I stood out in the cold for hours with him. I'm still going to watch him 24/7 unless he is in his crate for at least two more weeks, when I know his potty schedule 100%.
A few days ago when I said go potty I could just tell he knew what I meant. He turns around to go in his area, cautiously because it was wet, and looks back at me like "do I have to?" I said go potty again and he was like oh fine.. such a cutie!
