I highly, highly, HIGHLY suggest neutering ASAP. Max started marking in my house when I got him and it was sooo annoying. I got a belly band which was quite annoying to keep changing, but at least I knew he wasn't getting it secretly some where in our house. As soon as he got neutered, the marking stopped. It was amazing. He stopped all of his hormonal behaviors after three days. I don't think it will be the same in your case because it is a habit, but Max only did this for a week or two in my house before he was neutered. There's always hope though. Keep him on leash so you can correct him if he marks, and put him in the crate if you can't watch him.

Good luck.
