Nothing that advocates rough or adversive training methods as in chole chains and prong collars are worth the read or say poke at or scold.

What you want to do is build a relationship based on trust so anything by Pat Millar, Karen Pryor, Messlia Alexander, Pam Dennison, Paul Owen oh ye his book the puppy whisperer as well as the other one of his are great.
