A lot of cats scratch furniture and scratch kids..
I brought my Kelsey over my parents house and they have a cat. Kelsey was curious and wanted to play with the cat I suppose and next thing I know the cat has scratched Kelsey in the eye!
Her eye was full of blood and worried the living pageeba's out of me! I took her to the vet and they gave me an ointment so she is fine now..but you never know...it could've been a lot worse. BUT..that is why some people declaw their cats! lol
