Also, if you do breed your bitch, remember there is a lot that can go wrong. It isn't always the joys of mommyhood. I had some heartbreaking experiences last year and nearly lost one of my bitches when she aspirated on vomit during an emergency c section. We also had to put an otherwise lovely male puppy out of my CH/MACH/UD/RAE papillon to sleep as he had a midline closure defect exposing his intestines AND had a defect in his rear feet (basically they looked like they were on backwards).

Breeding toy dogs is EXTREMELY stressful and you need to be prepared that it is very likely that something will go wrong during the whelping requiring emergency assistance. The death rate for puppies during whelping is very very high, even among experienced breeders.
