Hello, thanks for taking time to read and hopefully you guys can tell me this is normal and it will happen soon, as its supposed to. I have a unaltered male yorkie who is 8 months old as of the 21st of last month. He still does the puppy squat to pee, but he has begun humping things and he has his K-9 teeth in already? I am not sure as he is my first yorkie and my first small dog, does it just take them a little longer? should I be worried?
Is it any different for females? When do they become "ready"? I also have a 9 mo old chihuahua, and we don't want them to bred on her first cycle so i have been watching her everyday and she is not yet in heat either.... I am so confused. Does anyone know?
