We just "adopted" little Yogi from a family friend and I have a few concerns. I don't know what is best as far as house-breaking him as he is already about a year and a half. When I first brought him home, he pottied on the pee-pad. When I let him roam around the living room/kitchen with us there, he pees on the carpet. I don't think he was trained to go outside at all so given his age, how do I start? Is a crate the best way to go about this? Also, is it normal for him to be so quiet and seemingly shy. He doesn't even play with the toys we bought for him (even when we are not around). I just hope nothing is wrong with him and he opens up. Thanks!
