I'm with you!!!
This is incredibly depressing to me, because Christmas is really my absolute favorite time of year. I've always said in the past that I wish Christmas time lasted all year! Our tree is up, the houses are all decorated, but I'm just not feeling it. I looked at the calendar and saw that there were 11 days left until Christmas and it really depressed me! I usually have a count down going starting in July (
)! *sigh* I don't know. I think I'm missing the cold weather. The weather really gets me into it...and I've barely needed a coat so far!
It seems like a lot of people are really just not into it this year.
Houses that are usually decked out just have a string of lights or whatever out. I think that everyone is really just feeling down about the world's situation right now, and it's taking a damper on Christmas.
Personally, I find it very hard to get into the spirit of Christmas when I'm buying a "Holiday Tree"
. I'm not trying to be political or anything, but it's hard to get into the spirit when you have to worry about offending everyone!
