I'm not able to post often, but thanks to YT tips Minnie is doing awesome!!

The house training tip that worked for us, if I caught her in the act say no and take her outside to finish then throw a party! If she had an accident we missed the cue so basically just clean it up and be more observant to her cues. Always throw a party after we picked up her cue and took her out. She was 4 months old Thursday and she is about 90% trained!!!

To make grooming a pleasure give plenty of treats (break one small treat into many bites so she doesn't really get more than she should) please don't tell her ha ha
She still doesn't love her baths but thanks to YT she loves the towel warmed in the microwave! Works great after her walk in the snow also!
When she started to get picky about food, I tried a trick I read on here; warming the food a little bit, worked fantastic thank you very much.

We love her with all our heart and dote on her as we did our skin kids.
There is one problem we desperately need help with. She is just getting to the point when she has something she wants she won’t drop, trade or be misdirected in any way.
Tonite she had food item we didn't want her to have. She wouldn't drop or trade. If you went near her she ran. Hubbie picked her up and was going to take the food from her mouth, she got nasty. She did this once before with tissue and she nipped him. We used to be able to get things she shouldn’t have from her, I usually trade. She does this with her ball also, she wants to play she will tap you with her toy, but if try and get the ball to throw it, she growls like for tug of war? Sometimes she will try and nip, I just say no I am not playing that way and ignore it/her. I don’t think she means to be mean, she is very loving, and just bossy she wants it her way. Hubbie loves her and just wants to solve this so she doesn’t become a snappy dog. We need advice on how to handle this, I haven’t had a dog in 27 yrs and hubbie since he was kid and he was attacked. I don't want this to mar their great relationship; I know they adore each other. Sorry this was so long, and thanks for any advice.
