You are best off finding a reputable hobby show breeder..they may occasionally have a puppy that will be too small to breed or show..as was Pixie's case..she was sold to me as a pet only because of her small size..her breeder DOES NOT breed for tinies..I thought Pixie would be a bit bigger than she is..but luckily she is very strong, happy and healthy her brother was alot larger than her and her breeder was worried that he would be OVER the standard (7lbs) so you just can't guarantee the weight..its potluck..I had a 6lb'er before Pixie and she was very small..to take on a tiny you have to to be aware of so many dangers..from being stepped on, falling off furniture or being attacked by larger dogs..they can be hard work! goodluck with your search..don't be disheartened..the yorkie for you will come along.
