Mara had a litter of babies on thursday morning.. she slept in my arms on the love seat as she could not get comfortable.. I woke to her in contractions.. her first one did not make it.. she was alive but we could not get her out.. rushed to the vet and she died on the way.. the vet gave mara a shot.. and she delivered two more babies right away.both weighing 4 oz. we waited with yet another shot and nothing.. the vet took an xray and her last baby was coming down and began going back up the other side.. she dies before the c section was complete... all 4 were girls... here is a few pictures of her.. she was just coming around good... and was a mess.. we were at the vet for 6.5 hours.. long hard day which was very emotional and heartbreaking..today the babies weighed 5.5 and 6.5..
If anyone else has had this same thing happen please post to make breeder aware if they have never heard of this happening.. I know my vet had not..anne
