well its only the second time ive ever seen snow actually falling.. the first time was about 7 yrs ago on new years eve and it only lasted about 5 minutes and melted before it hit the ground.
all the other times i was on vacation in TN or KY and we woke up to snow on the ground.
so it was pretty exciting to see it actually snow! that morning, i woke up around 7 for a final exam scheduled at 8. i was walking out the door and i was just amazed! i ran back to my room screaming to my boyfriend "its a blizzard outside!!" he jumped out of bed and we ran outside to play. by that time the whole neighborhood was up and having snowball fights haha.. and by 9 people were walking up and down the road with beer in their hands
i guess celebrating that finals had been cancelled for that day (my apartment complex is all college students - so you could imagine the chaos
).
needless to say.... it was a great day. the snow finally all melted today
