I know people that use the dramamine product that is made with meclizine - I think it is the non drowsy version. But you would want to find out how much your vet recommends based on his size.
Do you think that he might just have a little tummy upset today? If he is still not feeling well, it may not have been car sickness.
Hugs and kisses to Gucci from my bunch! |
the vet had recommended 1/4 of a tablet for him in the dramamine, but he is going to prescribe something next time we go .. this was just a spur of the moment fix for him until we got home. I am 99% positive it was car sickness as he isn't showing any other signs, he still wants to play and everything, no fever, still eating and drinking fine... But Mommy is making him rest a little before he can get buck wild again lol he's a live wire!!
Thanks for the suggestion as well, I think we have decided to feed at least 2 hours ahead now. He is my first Yorkie so I am learning as I go.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE GET WELL WISHES!! Gucci Says Hugs and Kisses back to all of you!!
