I think you should tell the breeder the truth. You did what you promised your co worker and told your breeder about her interest in purchasing a dog, but you also looked out for the best interest of all parties involved by voicing your fear for the safety of the animal. Any decision after that point is up to your breeder. I'm sure she can tactfully ask the woman about her children and hear her side of it without flat out saying that you badmouthed your coworkers kids. Good luck!
