I know I should keep my comments to myself, but at 2 1/2 months why are you syringe feeding your puppy? He should have teeth and should be capable of eating by himself. My puppies are 6 weeks old know and have been eating by themselves for 2 weeks, the first week I ground up the dry food and made gruel and now they eat Royal Canin Baby formula and have no problems consuming it. One of mine is only 14 oz and she is strong, healthy and able to fight the boys to the food dish.

I'm not trying to argue with anyone, I just see this as strange.
