My youngest is 2 1/2 months old @ 1.6lbs and he is syringe fed. I notice he is plump but very healthy. I try to feed him 4 times a day as he'd rather play than eat. Little babies like this tend to forget to eat.
How much does he eat? Monitor his food intake and if he isn't eating enough then increase the amount or do what I do.
My pup vomited bile one day and that was it...I started feeding him myself at least till he's 3-4months old. He hates it but this way I know that he is getting the calories he needs.
