 Walk 2x per Day Rain or Shine!
I suggest you Invest in a Good "Winter Wardrobe". Me and my 3 Yorkies live in the East Coast. I walk them at least 2x per Day Rain or Shine. During the Summer I get up and walk them very early in the AM. when it is Cooler and during the Winter time I walk them later in the Afternoon when it is warmer.
If it is very cold to me I figure it's cold to them? I always put them in a Sweater or a Full body Velour Sweatsuit w/a Quilted Nylon Body Suit I even have "Fleece" Face/Head Hats that a secured w/velcro for extreme cold.
I even walk them in the Rain b/c they only go Potty outside! So I have NO choice. I used to live right next door to the Dog Park so they were there at
least 3x per day.....they were the only ones running around not shivering!
When we're having really bad weather "Hurricane" watch or Thunder Storms I don't bother but otherwise what else do they have to look foreward to besides their "Walks"?
