My vet is having us do a scheduled csection because of the holidays. He will come in even if the office is closed (Christmas Eve or Christmas) only if I scheduled - other than that I would have had to the ER vet and I do NOT like them at all. They are doing it on day 61 of the first breeding. I only bred her twice because I knew what we had to plan as I am in close contact with my vet. If I had bred on more dates they still would have done it on day 61 of the last breeding OR when she went into labor. They wouldn't want to harm the babies just because they jumped the gun and did it too early.
