I have a male. He also sort of picked me. Waddled his little puppy but right up and curled up n my lap and feel asleep. I was sunk.
Hes not a real lap dog. He'd rather curl up right next to me then on me. He's also pretty independent around the house. He's not always underfoot, but generally in the area. Hes only 4 months old, so no marking issues yet, BUT he is a big
humper 
So far only one person, but he has a stuffed bear which he is quite fond of
