I have both; Jack is very much on his own but he will check and see if you are around and loves to be praised. and yes he gives kisses. He picked me also out of 4-others.Mind you he was my first yorkie so I did not know about anything about them. He wears a belly band, which I think it makes him more handsome.
Bella, on the other hand she is a Baby. I mean that in every sense of he word. She screams and she wants to be picked up All the time and she follows me everywhere (even potty).
Well don't get me wrong I would not have it any other way I love them both and its all my my fault for spoiling them. But they are my babies. So to answer your question I would go with a female.
