Really I've never heard anyone ask do you want a coke, then I say yes, then they ask what kind. Its always been a little stange because I've always heard that that's what the southerns say, "coke", but I've never actually heard them say it. I've lived all over the south, NC, GA, AL, and been everywhere else TN, SC, MS.
So I'm not calling you liars if you said that you say coke but do you really say it? I'm really asking again not calling you liars, I really want to know.
Oh and by the way I say drink, or will specifically ask if they want something like do you want a glass of water, do you want a coke, do you want a dr. pepper, whatever we have. | This is why I say "coke" or "drink". For example if I am in the car and I want to stop and get something I say, I'm going to get a coke or I need a drink. Guess it's hard to explain. Depending on where I'm at I say coke or drink. |
