I have a feeling that in this case, the breeder found things she/he didn't like and tried to give the person an easy letddown. But, Misti, you know me, had I been the breeder I would have flat out told her that I did not think her home would be a good home for my puppy. Said thank you for the inquiry and hung up real fast. Well, I would normally agree with you, but she never checked out my references or asked about them and I had no problem with any other breeder. Each breeder I spoke with had good feelings about placing their puppy with me. I am the one who is picky with finding the right breeder and puppy. She asked where I lived and asked to give a little background about myself. So, I compiled all the information I got from most Breeder's questionaires and gave her a synopsis of my history with yorkies, offered to give references, my lifestyle, work, all about my fiance, my parents, his parents, their homes, our home, the children that would come around .....etc. I can understand that maybe she didnt think that my home life or lifestyle was good enough for her puppy. To each their own. But, to know all this about me and nothing about my client and tell them the truth??!?!?!?! I would write to her, but I do not even think she would respond back. Dishonesty with me is a deal breaker in whatever you do!!! I can't stand when someone lies and I certainly do not like it when they drag you along. You know that I am waiting for this puppy, so why would you give me false hopes? Its not fair and its not right. The sad part is she always signed off "blessings" and then her name. What blessings are you giving when your treating people like this. I dont know what her ultimate reason was, but like I told her, so long as this puppy finds a good home, that is all that matters........I have the breeder that I am happy with and I know that she is the one that will be part of my family and she will bring me this wonderful gift in early spring which will definitely be worth the wait and all this aggravation...lol!!
