If you decide to homecook, you can get the help of a nutritionist and all of their needs will be met. I prefer veterinary nutritionists but a lot of YT members have been very pleased with a certified pet nutritionist. Just make sure the recipe meet AAFCO guidelines and it should be just fine.

Also, when trying to figure out what the problem is, I wouldn't use every protein known to man because if they start becoming allergic to more foods that they have been exposed to, you will be left with no "new" protein sources to give them.
