Some say yes and some say no.
They are supposedly more digestible (over 90% I think) but they were over 80% digestible before, so I'm not sure that was the whole problem.
One vet surgeon in GA is quoted online saying that they still see obstruction cases with the new ones.
Also, on their website it says that dogs under 5 poiunds or under 6 months (I think) shouldn't have the regular ones because they can't adequately chew.

So 5 pound dogs can't chew correctly?
I don't know but they aren't something I'd want to give.
Bully sticks seem a bit safer.
