....I have been doing all kinds of reading and been contacting breeders to see about adding a yorkie to our home. I have just started reading all of the reasons why you should NOT get littermates. Unfortunately, 1 1/2 ago the breeder that I got my shihtzus from, did not mention any of this to me. I have a brother and sister that get along well.
Does anyone have littermates? If so, have you introduced another dog into your home? One breeder that I spoke with said that she would NOT sell a pup to me because she knew of a shihtzu that killed a yorkie. At that point I had not even mentioned that they were littermates. Does anyone know anything about the littermate dynamic?
I am to go see some yorkie puppies on Sunday -- but just wonder if I am crazy for even thinking of bringing another one home.
