Ok this has always been a popular question around here. I was raised in the south my family(mom's and dad's family) are all up north. They all call it pop, although if my uncle asks if you want a pop the answer is always no otherwise he will hit you. Everyone down here says they say coke but I don't understand that either. Really I've never heard anyone ask do you want a coke, then I say yes, then they ask what kind. Its always been a little stange because I've always heard that that's what the southerns say, "coke", but I've never actually heard them say it. I've lived all over the south, NC, GA, AL, and been everywhere else TN, SC, MS.
So I'm not calling you liars if you said that you say coke but do you really say it? I'm really asking again not calling you liars, I really want to know.
Oh and by the way I say drink, or will specifically ask if they want something like do you want a glass of water, do you want a coke, do you want a dr. pepper, whatever we have.
