I have one of those mini rope toys you're thinking of. I got it four years ago when I fostered a Pit Bull. The rescuer gave me a stocking full of toys (the plastic ones in a set) with toys for him. They were mostly too small though. I ended up keeping it for a long time lol. You might try those plastic stockings they sell at Petco or Petsmart or Target.
