I skipped watching the video, but I never let mine out at night unless the whole backyard is lit up & I am right there.
We live at the Base of the Sierras and there is so much wildlife here:
coyotes, bears, eagles, hawks, owls, raccoons. We see them on a daily basis, when it gets colder the coyotes are known to curl up as a pack on somebody's back porch.
My hubby thought I was being overprotective until the day we drove into our development & a hawk was taking off with a jackrabbit way bigger then our 2 yorkies. He is worse then I am about letting them outside now, he even put a pellet gun next to the slider, just incase he needs to scare something off. |
