It took me awhile and its like a full time job. Take your time and make sure you are completely comfortable with all your answers.

Definitely ask to see their guarantee. Definitely see pictures of the Sire and Dam and if you can, see past litters from them. I would also ask about health issues with line that they may know of. Do they do genetic testing? How long they have breeding? Search that breeder online and in this forum. If you cant find something on them in this forum, definitely start a thread on them and ask if anyone here has heard of them. I would also, get the number and name of their VET as well as more than 3 references that have purchased puppies. I like to get references of someone who has had a puppy recently, a few months and over a year. Bite issues are imporant to me, so you can ask about that too.

I think that is a good starting point for you! Also, dont be afraid to ask questions! A good breeder will never turn you away. This is a loooonnnggg committment and you should know everything you can about them and their puppies!
