This is exaclty what Victoria teaches. Also teach the down command as well. When I first come home I do say Hey Baby but keep walking. I don't pet my boy right away. I give him a few minutes to calm down. He doesn't jump on me at all when I come through the door and I don't want him jumping on other people either.
