My guy's head is silver, and he looks gray.....this is what I've always heard: The head will change from black to silver then gold. By year three a Yorkshire terrier should reach it's mature colors.(there are exceptions to every rule) You can kinda see Mac in my avatar pic. and how silver/gray his head is. He always had silver roots(got him at 8weeks) and as his hair grew so did the silver. He is 2yrs 4mos. and I think
