They just need a little time to get to know each other. My little Fergie (4.5 lb yorkie) loves playing with our other dog, Ollie (49 lb. collie). Fergie gets so excited when it is time to bring Ollie in to play. It is so much fun watching Fergie jump all over the big collie.
We introduced them slowly and only when we were able to supervise. It was Ollie's house first, so we made sure to pay attention to him. Now, they spend the day together, lots of times Fergie will fall asleep in all of his fur!
