I'm pretty small and have to wear a 6 or 6.5 inch bracelet. Your average adult bracelet comes in 7 or 7.5 though so I have to usually wear the stretchy kind of have it resized (if possible). Just saying it's for "an adult" doesn't tell much. If this adult has skinny arms and wrists, I would go with a smaller one but if they are "average to bigger", a 7 or 7.5 would work. Hard to tell with bracelets though!
