I just want to say I am really sorry about this whole situation...It must make your son very, very uncomfortable considering that he has to see this teacher everyday at school. That teacher sounds completely unprofessional, and I hate that just because someone has tenure means that they have the right to act however they want...I've come across teachers/instructors/professors like that, and it is not right.
I would definitely take this further even if your son does not want to stay in the class, which I'm sure at this point, he doesn't...Teachers should not be allowed to act that way...They need to have common courtesy and respect for parents AND students.
