I work for the Fire Department in my town and we get a couple calls a year about scenarios like this... Our most recent one was last week when an elderly woman called the office (not 911) to ask for assistance because her s**tzu had somehow gotten on top of the pool cover and couldn't or wouldn't get off. We all just kinda laugh at these because their technically not what the guys do, but since we have a great Chief and I'm such a animal lover we usually send out a couple guys to help with the situation. FYI - the s**tzu was rescued by one of the guys and was fine. But as a precautionary measure for this happening again I would find a way to block the area off so that she cannot get in there. |
